An experimentalist and highly experienced composer, producer, collaborator and performer, Ed continues to push boundaries in the electronic and classical spheres, creating music that’s fresh, powerful and beautifully crafted.
Ed’s recent scores include the US horror/thriller feature Temple, a four-part drama for BBC One From Darkness (2016 Ivor Novello Nominated, 2016 RTS Award Nominated Best Original Score, 2016 RTS Award Nominated Title Music) and two ITV dramas: Bancroft and the psychological thriller Midwinter of the Spirit.
Landmark projects include:
A true collaborator, Ed has acted as Musical Director for the likes of Madonna, Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs and Sir George Martin, and continues to work with young contemporary artists, creating experimental music for their installations. His recent collaborations with Sir Tim Rice have earned him an Ivor Novello and 2 RTS award nominations.
Ed was a chorister at both Hampton Court Palace and St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle. He won a scholarship to the Royal College of Music, where he was honored to be awarded the Countess of Munster Scholarship to further his studies in composition & violin in New York & Japan.
Edmund has performed with many of the world’s finest orchestras, such as the London Philharmonic Orchestra, LSO, BBC Symphony, Chicago Symphony, Philharmonia and the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields.
